I have been fortunate in obtaining and retaining the services of his abilities for so long a period and I regret that his salary is too small as I consider him entitled to much consideration and from his long service deserving of remuneration at a higher rate, especially as at the present time every article of consumption and house rent is at an extravagantly high price.
